BIPP Article & WPC

Automotive photographer, Tim Wallace.

A few months ago I was asked to write an article for the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP) Magazine. The article is about working constantly with colour and tone when shooting commercially in studio and a technique I use to edit and control those variables across a suite of images for a client. This has now gone to print and is available now. I hope it proves useful to people.

The Ferrrai Monza SP1 image was shot in studio as part of a project that I undertook with Ferrari to capture 7 significant models through the years, and started with the infamous Ferrari Lusso GT. One of the Monza SP1 images was also entered into the World Photography Cup, of which I am a member of Team GB, under he Commercial Photography section.

Very pleased to say that as a member of Team GB the the Ferrari Monza image went on to pick up the Best in Nation Award for Team GB and also won the Gold Medal for Best Commercial photograph worldwide at the WPC finals event.

Congratulations to Spain for winning the WPC Photographic World Cup that was announced last night at the awards ceremony in Dallas, Texas, and to all that entered.
