We are very pleased to announce the launch globally of the HDK (High Downforce Kit) Brochure for Client McLaren MSO
This is a project that commercial automotive car photographer Tim Wallace shot for our client McLaren in the latter part of 2018. The brochure is digitally available through the global McLaren main website and features all of the 2019 accessories and modifications available through McLaren MSO - McLaren Special Operations Division

In September 2018 we welcomed on board new client McLaren to AmbientLife
Over the latter part of 2018 car photographer Tim Wallace has been working closely with McLaren, the McLaren Special Operations Team and their production company on a massive photography project for this iconic British sports car company.
This element to that project was for the 'HDK' - High Downforce Kit designed by McLaren Special Operations.
The High Downforce Kit adds an incredible 75kg of extra downforce – pushing the car’s surefootedness to even greater heights. This increases stability when travelling at speed, yet crucially leaves the characteristically agile dynamics of the Sports Series firmly intact during lower speed driving. The results open up heart-stopping new limits to your drive.
Finished in Gloss Visual Carbon Fibre, the MSO Defined High Downforce Kit brings distinctive race aesthetics to your car. To each side, contrasting end plate inserts in Palladium Grey – featuring Silver Chromatic MSO branding – add a subtle touch. While supporting the wing, dynamic pylons are finished in Satin Black with Palladium Grey inserts.

McLaren Special Operations (MSO) is a bespoke division, dedicated to helping take McLaren ownership to a whole new level. MSO create cars around an owner’s precise tastes, and are able to provide everything from bespoke customisation options through to building ultra-exclusive limited-edition or one-off models.
Their mission is to make what is already special into something truly unique, to create your perfect McLaren.
The 'HDK' work is now part of the 2019 McLaren ‘Genuine Accessories Catalogue’ that was hot by commercial photographer Tim Wallace.
The entire accessories brochure shoot was based around the McLaren 570S to fully capture the range of options available, from the handcrafted carbon through to body modifications, as well as all the interior upgrade options. The brochure is available through the global McLaren website and within the ownership portal. McLaren had a very precise requirement for how all the completed images should look and feel, and with new corporate image guidelines in place the photography would need to strictly follow these to allow the suite of images to all tie together when placed within the final brochure.
