The Day after Yesterday

A contemporary take on the classic Yorkshire landscape. This photograph was taken looking northwards from Carlton Bank in Winter 07.
I wanted to give the majestic view a scale and feel that the person in the picture literally had the world at their feet. The opening in the cloud as the light shines onto a patch of countryside before the sitters feet represents hope in an uncertain world.
