04/09/09This week saw work undertaken by Ambient Life Photographer Tim Wallace to complete a series of work on the restoration process and modern upgrades available on such classic Aston Martin models as the DB5 and DB2/4.
This work was all shoot on location at the clients main site and is to be used in both marketing material and web usage over the next month. A lot of the 'engineering' type of commercial work that Tim shoots is undertaken at the clients site whenever possible to simplify the process and ensure that costs are kept to a minimum. Moving around cars and large chassis can be not only expensive but also potentially harmful to the product. Tim is able to create a studio feel to the work that he produces through the dynamic lighting system that he uses, the Elinchrom Ranger system, this requires no mains power and whilst been totally portable is also as powerful and as versatile as most studio bound systems.
